All the ‘Wey’ for Reeds

Reeds Weybridge U13’s, sponsored by Medigold Health, achieved their 3rd win in a row this weekend by beating the opposition 7 tries to 1. The boys played the game with pure passion supported by speed and physicality. The new team mascot, Ranger, was also wearing his jersey with pride which added to the team’s motivation before the game.

It is incredibly important to Medigold Health, to help keep children in sport. Team sports such as rugby give children a sense of camaraderie, and belonging, as well as teaching discipline and respect, all while getting them out in the fresh air, and doing some exercise.

Not every child that participates in a sport will become a professional athlete, but they will acquire a broad range of skills, confidence and build lasting friendships, all of which is beneficial to their mental health and wellbeing.

We love hearing from the team and look forward to keeping track of their success before their upcoming tour to Holland.
