Medigold Health’s Christmas Causes

This year instead of Medigold Health supporting a collective charity, we encouraged each of our locations across the UK to support a cause local to them.

Our first thank you is to all our staff in the Sheffield office who donated essential items and some goodies for the ‘Homeless Christmas Shoebox Appeal’.  They filled shoeboxes with a selection of thermal gloves, hats, toiletries and some festive sweets.  Special thanks to Rhiannon Gregory who, for the second year, coordinated the appeal and delivered the boxes.

Similarly, the Plymouth office collected a host of items to fill shoeboxes and then donated these to the following local homeless charities: Shekinah, Salvation Army and the Domestic Abuse Refuge.  A special thank you to Laura Way who coordinated this appeal.

Our Alcohol and Drug division at the Hampton Knight, Tamworth office collected food items to donate to the Tamworth Foodbank, which is supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.  Thanks to Alex Humphries who organised the collection.

For the last 5 years, Peter Firmo one of Medigold Health’s Senior Account Managers, alongside his band members have organised a Christmas Gig to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society

Finally, Medigold Health HQ in Northampton, chose to support our animal friends this Christmas and collected food supplies and set up a Just Giving page to raise money for much need vet bills in aid of our local shelter Maxicare- Animals In Need Northamptonshire.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!
